Professional Bio
Dr. Marie Francesca Menniti is a poultry vet with an interest in nutrition. She qualified from the University of Edinburgh, Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and has two other degrees – an undergraduate degree in biological sciences and a masters in animal nutrition.
Marie is originally from Canada but has an Italian heritage. She moved to Scotland in 2014 to attend veterinary school and never left! She works as a poultry vet, and loves the fact that her job lets her travel all around the country to see game birds and chickens. Marie also enjoys travelling and trying new dishes, origami, board games, and reading.
Marie’s Pets
Marie has one Bengal cat called Meeyu, who she rehomed when he wasn’t getting along with the other cats in his new home. He loves to chat and cuddle on the sofa while watching whatever is on television, but his favourite time of the day is mealtime. He also knows a few tricks including giving a paw and spinning in a circle!
